This page is dedicated to giving updates on the progress of students in Course 150, which started in Bankstown in March 2009.  This page will track key achievements such as first solos, flight tests, theory and fly aways.  Also, key dates for the class are included at the bottom of the page.

Latest Update! - Congratualations to all the students who have graduated with a Certificate IV in Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence)

Congratulations to all fo the students who have graduated with a Certificate IV in Aviaiton (Commercial Pilot Licence) within 42 weeks of commencing the course; Jimmi, Natalia, Vikram, Young, Gaurav, Alfred, JP, Meshal, Vishnu and Conrad.

There were several higpoints to the course along the way, such as;

• Vishnu going first solo in 10.4 hours
• Jimmi completing his CPL flight test with exactly 150 hours experience
• Vikram winning the inauguarl "Chandrika Gaur Award for Airmanship"
• Three flyaways; Adelaide and Melbourne on teh 2nd -6th Nov; Coffs Harbour, Gold Coast and Tamworth on the 3rd - 5th November and Coffs Harbour and Armidale on teh 18th-19th November.

March Update

Welcome to everybody in the class, and hopefully everyone found our Orientation Day informative.  Bree Linton has been assigned your course co-ordinator.  She should be your first reference point for any questions.  Theory has been scheduled for every Monday and Tuesday, in classroom B4.  Please make sure you do the pre-reading before each class.

May Update

Congratulations to Jonathan, Prathamesh and Anand for going first solo in the month of April.

Most of the students spent the month of April completing sequences such as Forced Landings, Precautionary Search and Landing and Steep Turns in the training area, and getting ready for their GFPT pre-licenses.

June Update

Good luck to all of you sitting the Private Pilot Licence (PPL) theory test this month.

July Update

Congratulations to Jimmi Ludricks for completing his Private Pilot Licence (PPL) flight test and starting the CPL Navs.  Jimmi has flown 120 hours since starting the course in March, and is on track to complete his CPL much earlier than the standard course.

Good luck to everybody that has their PPL pre-licenses and flight tests coming up.
