We have recently designed a new lecture series covering BAK theory which will now be offered to part-time students.
Michael Bunn is the author of this new lecture series, and he has have developed excellent powerpoint materials and case studies.
The lecture series will run each Sunday for 4 weeks, and cover all of the content required to pass the BAK theory exam. (See timetable below)
The materials Michael has developed mean that the theory will be delivered in a dynamic and interesting way. There are several case studies of accidents, class activities with hands on learning, videos, practical demonstrations and all lectures are delivered with powerpoint teaching aids.
Lectures go for from 9 am to 5pm, with a free BBQ lunch provided. Students benefit from doing the pre-reading before each lecture, which may include studying a case study of an accident.
The theory schedule is set out below.
| Session | Lecture |
| 01 | Aerodynamics and Instruments |
| 02 | AGK and Meteorology |
| 03 | Performance and Navigation |
| 04 | Air Law and Human Factors |
How much does it cost?
The course costs $400, including GST. Full payment is required at least 1 week in advance. The course will only be run if there are at least 6 participants. Participants will get a full refund if the course is cancelled.
