The 200 Hour Package course is designed for students that want to achieve their first 200 hours of flying as soon as possible.
The course is structured so that students fly the additional 25 hours of command required before a ME CIR course while they are still studying for their CPL. This means that they start their ME CIR part of their course earlier.
The 200 Hour Package has three parts;
- Certificate IV in Aviation (Commercial Pilot License)
- Additional 25 hours of command flying to take the total to 200 hours
- Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating
The course runs for 50 weeks. Students are required to have completed their CPL prior to starting the ME CIR part of the program.
The course is structured in the same way as the CPL and ME CIR courses. However, students will be scheduled for additional command flying of 25 hours while they are studying for the CPL. This also means that students have more experience before they sit their CPL flight test and will be more confident pilots.
The 200 Hour Package is equal to the sum of the Commercial Pilot License, plus 25 additional hours of command flying plus the Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating.
