Employment Opportunities

Basair currently has positions available for:

  • Grade III Instructors
  • Casual Chieftain Pilots

Application Process

Grade III Instructors

The minimum requirements for any candidate to be eligible for a position as a Grade III instructor are;

  • A current Australian Commercial Pilot Licence
  • A current Austrailan Flight Instructor Rating
  • A current Night VFR or Command Instrument Rating.

Eligible candidates should fill in the online application form.

Casual Chieftain Pilots

The minimum requirements for any candidate to be eligible for a position as a casual chieftain pilot are;

  • 1000hrs TT
  • 400hrs ME PIC
  • 100hrs ME High Performance PIC (6 seater or higher)
  • PA31 type endorsement and 10hrs PIC on type
